The old site used an outdated database to update content and build pages. The design hadn't been updated in years, and the site was unusable on mobile devices. Worse yet, Help for Reading clients couldn't find the worksheets and videos in the confusion.
Help for Reading selected a free, responsive WordPress theme and we got to work customizing it. We freshened up the logo, optimized the videos, and incorporated a blog. Now clients can easily find and download worksheets and watch tutorials.
The old site used outdated web code and technology, and their previous "web guy" had moved on. The design completely fell apart on mobile devices. Because the site was difficult to update, they struggled to maintain logical organization and navigation as their product line grew.
Boise Bees didn't want a "cookie-cutter" website. We updated the code to HTML5; incorporated a responsive design so it looks great on all devices; and optimized custom graphics for better display on the web and to reinforce their branding. The result? A 20% increase in web traffic.
